The Development and Alumni Relations Office invites staff and students to apply for funding from the Queen's Annual Fund for projects that significantly impact and improve the student experience.

Application deadline is 4pm on Friday, 6 October 2023.

Successful applicants will be notified, early December 2023 and funds released in December 2023 at the earliest or by January 2024 at the latest.
Please include the key dates/timeline to deliver your project and a breakdown of costs and quotes from suppliers for your project budget - to receive an easy-to-use budget template contact Michéal on the email below.

Finally, projects/events which are due to occur before the disbursement of funds in December 2023, unfortunately cannot be considered. There are certain other things which the Annual Fund will not support, these include the following:
• Accommodation costs
• Capital costs eg: building or course costs
• Charities, political parties or pressure groups
• Gifts or prizes for participants
• Individual requests for maintenance fees or scholarships
• Project staff costs/salaries
• Refreshments/pizza/drinks/food
• Travel costs

6. It is important that students, staff and donors are informed about the projects supported by the Queen’s Annual Fund. A condition of the award will be to promote Queen’s Annual Fund support as widely as possible. Successful applicants will also be asked to provide video testimonials. Please outline the opportunities the project will provide to publicise the Fund (e.g. branding, PR, photocalls etc), including using the logo where possible (Limit 200 words):

Each application must provide two references who can endorse the project and the project leader. Failure to provide references will result in your application not being shortlisted.
