University is about so much more than books and exams……it is about having a positive experience that helps our students develop as an individual.
The Queen’s Annual Fund supports projects that benefit the students, the campus and the community. Over the years, gifts from loyal alumni have enabled the Queen’s Annual Fund to build distinctive programs and innovative research initiatives both in and out of the classroom. Last year, nearly 1,200 of our alumni have donated a generous £84,000 to the Queen’s Annual Fund.
The new Queen’s Medical Fund supports medical students to undertake summer studentships and intercalated degrees in our leading research centres. Improving outcomes for patients is central to our bench to bedside research programmes and medical students who include a research element in their degree develop a better understanding of the underlying causes of diseases and innovative patient treatments. The Queen’s Medical Fund will also contribute to the Hardship Fund to provide support for students who need financial assistance during their medical studies.
