Cystic Fibrosis Information Evening
21st November 2012
In the United Kingdom there are around 9000 people with cystic fibrosis and more than 250 new diagnoses each year. Cystic fibrosis is particularly common in Ireland. Recently researchers in Northern Ireland have collaborated with colleagues across three continents to help develop groundbreaking new therapies for this condition.
We are now at the beginning of a journey over the next 10 years during which the lives of people with cystic fibrosis will be transformed with new therapies.
Join us for an opportunity to hear about some of the exciting research ongoing in cystic fibrosis at the University. The evening will include a tour of our state-of-the-art laboratories as well as talks from some of our doctors and researchers working in this field.
