ARE YOU A WINNER? ENTER OUR MARCH COMPETITION!

25 February 2020

As we bring you details of our latest Queen’s graduate ‘free to enter’ competition, we are delighted to announce the winners of our Alumni Survey and January eGraduate winners.

Almost 3,000 graduates completed the Alumni Survey organised by DJS Research.  Headline responses included:

  • Your favourite social media is Facebook
  • 35% of graduates are interested in volunteering
  • 5% of you are considering leaving a legacy to Queen’s
  • 66% of respondents are not aware that 100% of gifts to Queen’s go directly to a designated project
  • 81% read our annual magazine The Graduate

A more detailed report will be available in the coming months, in the meantime a huge thanks to all of you who took the time to complete this important survey. Your replies will help to shape the future of the alumni programme at Queen's.

The final batch of £20 Amazon voucher winners are:

  • Henry Houston
  • Alison Noble
  • Stephanie Houston
  • Rosemary Hogg

Congratulations to all four winners; your vouchers are currently on their way.

In January we asked you to sign up for monthly copies of our eGraduate ezine, with those very kind people at That Protein (founded by Queen’s graduate, Darlene McCormick) offering an amazing £150 of That Protein products for those who did so.

And the lucky winner, drawn at random, is:

  • Gail Lewthwaite, BA Byzantine Studies (1999)

Well done Gail; your prize is on its way.

A gorgeous food/drink hamper prize is up for grabs in our March competition. Again, all we ask is that you opt in to receive our electronic monthly eGraduate magazine (before 5pm on 31st March) to be eligible. This superb prize has been very kindly donated by Indie Füde.

Founded by Queen’s Accounting alumnus, Johnny McDowell, you can read here about his passion for artisan food (especially cheese!) and how he came to set up his mouth-watering business in Comber.
