Keith Connolly, MBA (died 28 January 2020, aged 54)

Keith was born on 21 August 1965 and raised by Sean and Annette Connolly in Galway City, Ireland. He was a proud graduate of St Enda’s School, National University of Ireland, Galway and Queen’s University Belfast, where he completed his MBA in 1988.

 

Keith came to New York in 1990 where he held positions at Muller Data and Thomson Financial. He later moved to Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, where he worked for 22 years, eventually becoming Managing Director and General Manager, Real Estate

Finance Department, Americas Division. He was proud of his Irish roots and made many trips back with his family.

Keith will be remembered as a wonderful husband to Sarah, father to Georgia and Katie, son, brother, uncle and nephew. He was caring, thoughtful, playful and fun. He had a
terrific sense of humour. He was an avid reader of history and politics and loved a good debate. Keith enjoyed grilling and cooking Sunday dinners. He was a big fan of both soccer and rugby and a member of the New York Athletic Club. He was a true friend to everyone he knew.
