FANCY CHANGING THE WORLD?

The Sir William Whitla Hall at Queen’s is the ‘must visit’ destination for the next Postgraduate Research Open Evening at the University on Tuesday 29 November 2016, when prospective students can find out if they have what it takes to change the world.

FacebookTwiThe Open Evening will commence with an overview of postgraduate research study, presented by the Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research, Enterprise and Postgraduate Affairs, Professor James McElnay.

Those attending will also have the chance to hear first-hand from current PhD students, early career researchers and supervisors who will talk to you about the cutting-edge research projects that they are undertaking at present.

Professor Margaret Topping, Dean of The Graduate School, will also provide an overview of the range of training and development opportunities available to students, including the uniquely tailored postgraduate researcher development programme.

The breadth of world-leading research that takes place at Queen’s will be showcased and you will be able to discuss their research ideas and interests directly with students and staff. 

Representatives from the University’s Admissions and Access Service and the Finance teams will also be on-hand to answer any queries that you may have about funding and scholarships, and how to apply.
