WANT A CHANCE TO HAVE YOUR SAY ON TV?

12 October 2017

BBC Northern Ireland’s weekly current affairs and topical debate programme is inviting Queen’s alumni to join the audience for its next Spotlight Special on Tuesday 24 October.

Spotlight Special could be your chance to put a question or comment to a panel of local politicians, on issues affecting our lives.

It's the local version of Question Time and with questions and comments coming from the studio audience, participation is at the heart of a successful and dynamic programme.

"We are especially looking for people who have something to say, are opinionated, who are interested in the news, politics in Northern Ireland and the issues that affect their day to day lives," said Aisling Strong, Spotlight Special.

The programme is pre-recorded in Belfast from 1830 to about 2115 and broadcasts later the same evening.

If you are interested in participating or being an audience member you can contact Aisling via spotlightspecial@bbc.co.uk and 0345 300 3080.

Inquiries to Gerry Power, Communications Officer, Queen’s University Development and Alumni Relations Office; tel: +44 (0)28 9097 5321.
