CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR 2019 J-1 VISAS TO THE US

03 December 2018

Recent Queen’s graduates, have you thought about undertaking a paid internship in the United States of America? You can apply for a year-long J-1 visa to the US through the Irish International Immigrant Center (IIIC), and they will help you find a paid internship in your field of study.

The IIIC is a non-profit organisation and a designated J-1 visa sponsor. Every year the IIIC aids graduates and students from Ireland – North and South – in securing a J-1 visa to the United States of America. They have been an accredited J-1 visa sponsor since 2008 and have supported more than 2,500 graduates and students.

The IIIC’s Director of Intern Placements helps and supports graduates and students in their internship search. Thousands of students and graduates, with the support of the IIIC, have obtained a unique and rewarding internship in their field of study. This can really set you apart when you apply to jobs in your return to Ireland / Northern Ireland.

If you graduated in 2018, now is the time to apply. Why not start 2019 off in the US? Email the IIIC today to enquire about your J-1 visa: j1iwt@iiicenter.org.

Find out more about the Irish International Immigrant Center (IIIC) on their website or contact Jude Clarke.
