Janet Marion Louise (née Black) Orr, BA, 1981 (died 22 August 2017, aged 59)

Graduated from Queen's in 1981 with a BA in German Language and Literature. She also went on to complete a Postgraduate Certificate in Education in Manchester Polytechnic in 1983.
Janet taught in many secondary schools across Northern Ireland until 2012 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She passed away August 22nd August 2017 in Marie Curie Centre. Much loved wife, mother and nanny.
