Queen’s University is the number one choice of thousands of student applicants each year. As a Russell Group institution – and therefore one of the top research universities in the UK – Queen’s certainly has a lot to offer.

And as one of the top 250 universities in the world – and one of the most international – we welcome undergraduate and postgraduate students from all around the globe to share the ‘Queen’s experience’ in what the Lonely Planet described as ‘one of Europe’s most friendly and fashionable regional capitals’ and a ‘must-see visitor destination'.

But what is it that makes your University so great? We want to know what our graduates love most about their time at Queen’s. Was it our beautiful campus or possibly our location in the leafy suburbs of south Belfast? Perhaps it was the quality of our teaching and research or the excellent state-of-the-art facilities we have? Or maybe it was the people you met, the craic you enjoyed or the memories you made?

Between now and 25 July 2017 we want you to tell us whatever it is that made Queen’s special for you – no matter when you attended or what you studied.

Send us your thoughts, videos, photos and messages or email or contact us via Twitter using the hashtag #QUBTop10. We’ll then pull together a list of all the things you tell us that makes Queen’s so special and from the suggestions we’ll compile the ‘Top Ten’ most popular for publication in the next issue of The Graduate in October.

Maybe it was:

  • Social life/craic
  • Getting a chance to travel
  • Life in Halls
  • Participating in a sports club or student society
  • Meeting people from all around the world
  • Excellent McClay Library or other facilities
  • Quality of the teaching
  • Value of your degree
  • Graduation Day
  • Meeting your life partner
  • Vibrant Belfast nightlife
  • Friendliness of the people
  • World-class research

Or was it something else?

We want to showcase everything that is remarkable about this University and the people, places and experiences that make studying, working and visiting here so memorable.

So please tell us the thing(s) you love the most about Queen’s and we’ll tell the world!
